Description |
Rhizome creeping; rhizome scales deltoid in outline, base scalloped, apex only slightly tapering, cells with light brown walls and colorless contents. Fronds monomorphic, closely spaced, subcoriaceous. Stipe 15-19 cm long, brown, covert with very short brown hairs. Lamina tripinnate, lower pinnae well developed, terminal pinnae with gradually decreasing pinnules towards the narrow linear end, c. 20 x 18-20 cm; ultimate segments trapezoid, about 2 cm long, margin entire or sometimes partially lobed, with a slightly sharp end, decurrent on the petiolule, with upper margin often auriculate, with detached auricle, lower margin partly bordered by the oblique costa; rhachis and costae shortly tomentose, other surfaces naked. Sori rounded; indusium brown. |
